| Growing up in San Diego, CA, Lindsay Dean received her first camera at the age of six. She enjoyed taking snapshots, but she didn't devlop a serious interest in photography until her freshman year of college. Inspired by her mother, a professional photographer, Lindsay brought along a 1-megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera on vacation with her family on Martha's Vineyard Island. It was on this trip that she realized how much she enjoyed taking pictures. |

Since then she has worked hard to improve, and also learned more about the art of photography. While in college, she has taken several photography and design courses. She has gained experience photographing all over the United States and hopes to soon photograph all over the world. Lindsay enjoys entering her photos in competitions, as well as selling stock photography. She specializes in wildlife and nature photography, but she is always up for shooting anything and everything. The camera she mostly uses is a Nikon D70 DSLR. |
| When she isn't photographing, Lindsay enjoys watching Lost, playing Nintendo, going to the movies, singing karaoke, reading James Herriot novels, swimming and shopping. She currently resides in Morrisville, NC with her family and Jack, her German Shepherd Dog. |
